With Andres Muschietti’s adaptation of Stephen King’s ‘It’ and 'It Chapter Two' starring Bill Skarsgard as the children-hungry Pennywise, the outlook of how we look at diabolical onscreen characters changed once the makeup is removed and the visual effects turned off. Since we come to associate the evil characters with the actors, the reception is one of pleasant surprise to know that behind the bone-chilling masks are just ordinary people who are taking on the roles they have been assigned.
