Joker director Todd Phillips just dropped six whole new teasers showing Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck slowly take form as the villain of Gotham city. The new clips also show other cast like Robert DeNiro as Murray Franklin, a talk-show host who is instrumental in Arthur Fleck’s downfall as a failed stand-up comedian, Phoenix locking himself inside the refrigerator and of course the possible hint of the next trailer to be dropped next on 28th of August.

The new standalone Joker film will feature an origin story for the Clown Prince of Insanity with Joaquin Phoenix in the titular role. Also starring Zazie Beetz, Bill Camp, Frances Conroy, Brett Cullen, Glenn Fleshler, Douglas Hodge, Marc Maron, Josh Pais, and Shea Whigham, Joker releases October 4.
