Hollywood star Julia Roberts, who was the highest-paid actress in the world throughout most of the 1990s and in the first-half of the 2000s, has revealed that she tries to avoid meeting her fans as she still feels shy to have one-on-one interactions with them.
"I don't hate it, but I try to avoid it. I don't think I'm very good at that interaction. It's always been that way. Maybe I'm shyer than I realised," Roberts said in an interview with Hello! magazine.
The Runaway Bride superstar recently turned 50 and says was delighted to celebrate the occasion with her children and husband Daniel Moder.
"I had a lovely surprise in the form of my three kids. My husband and I were on a little trip to San Francisco and I was a little sad I wasn't with them for the day. Then we turned into a shop - my husband directed me in there - and I looked around and there they were. We had a gorgeous day, just the five of us," she said.
