Valentine’s Day is here and of you have not already booked a fancy dinner for your date, chances are high that you might not be able to anymore now. Marriage Story begins with a couple picking up the pieces of their failed marriage but not the love they shared, failing to find a closure. The movie earned nominations and awards at Oscars, Golden globe and several others.
Notting Hill
William Thacker (Hugh Grant) is a London bookstore owner whose humdrum existence is thrown into romantic turmoil when famous American actress Anna Scott (Julia Roberts) appears in his shop. Girl feels devastated but decides to goes on her ‘honeymoon’ all by herself to Europe. She makes many friends during her travels, rediscovers herself and learns the secret of happiness that lies within herself and not another individual you cling to.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is a sci-fi romantic film that portrays the story of two former lovers who decide to remove memories of each other from their mind, following the fallout of their two-year relationship. Starring Academy Award winner Kate Winslet and funny man Jim Carrey, the film traces the journey of the lovers, and whether they were meant to be at all. Not exactly romantic but the movie takes you on an emotional roller coaster for sure.
