Veteran star Alan Thicke's son, Robin, will honour him at the NHL100 Gala later this month. The "Blurred Lines" hit maker will give some "special heartfelt tribute" to the late actor, who died last month after suffering a heart attack, reported Femalefirst.
The event will commemorate the 100 greatest players in National Hockey League history. Thicke will also be honoured during the All-Star Celebrity Shootout event, a hockey game between NHL stars and celebrities from the worlds of film, TV and music.
Both teams will wear jerseys featuring a patch dedicated to the famous sports fan. The NHL 100 Gala, to be hosted by actor Jon Hamm, will also feature an appearance by singer John Legend.
