Vin Diesel's Fast and Furious 9 release gets postponed

One of the much-awaited films in Hollywood, Fast and Furious 9 will now release on April 10, 2020. The ninth installment of the popular franchise was originally scheduled to release on April 19, 2019. 

The news was announced on the official Instagram account of the movie via a poster which read, "#F9 APRIL 10, 2020". Universal Pictures did not disclose the reason for bumping back the date of release.

The eighth installment of the film, "The Fate of the Furious" released earlier this year in April and earned USD 1.2 billion. Actors Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson have been confirmed to reprise their roles.

The "Fast And Furious" franchise also stars Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris 'Ludacris' Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jason Statham, Scott Eastwood, Kurt Russell and Charlize Theron.
