The video shows how the attacker violently attacked the legendary actor in the back with a flying, two-footed drop kick, however couldn't deter the actor or victimise him. The actor was interacting with fans and posing for a selfie with his fans when the attacker came running from behind and landed an attack on him. The man fell to the ground while the crowd gathered to protect Schwarzenegger. The attacker was then nabbed by the security people present at the event.

Schwarzenegger took to social media after the incident to explain what happened. Thanking his fans and followers for their concern, Schwarzenegger shared that he hasn't been hurt. He termed the incident a "jostle" and ended his tweet on a light-hearted note.

The actor wrote on social media, "Thanks for your concerns, but there is nothing to worry about. I thought I was just jostled by the crowd, which happens a lot. I only realized I was kicked when I saw the video like all of you. I’m just glad the idiot didn’t interrupt my Snapchat."

The actor through a series of tweets urged urging his fans to not share the video. Schwarzenegger said that instead of sharing that particular video, watch the athletes who are giving their all to fitness.

"Do me a favor: instead of sharing the video of the guy who wants to be famous, watch some of our @ArnoldSports athletes like this young hero proving that fitness is for everyone who deserve to be famous. They’re on my Snapchat," he wrote alongside the video.

He also added that if one has to share the video of the incident, choose a "blurry one without whatever he was yelling" so he doesn't get the spotlight. "By the way... block or charge?" he tweeted.

The event organizer in a statement later clarified that the Schwarzenegger has no intention of pressing charges against the drop-kicker. "He views this as an unfortunate event by a mischievous fan." said the statement.
