'Wonder Woman 84' first poster: Gal Gadot is back as ‘Diana’ in a brand-new golden eagle armour

Director Patty Jenkins revealed the first official poster of Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman 84 as the Amazonian Diana Prince sporting the Gold Armour.

The first poster of Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman 84, a sequel to the 2017 Wonder Woman is officially out. Director Patty Jenkins revealed the first official poster of Gadot as the Amazonian Diana Prince sporting the Gold Armour as from the comic books and a background that features an array of colors which intersects to make a 'W' meaning, of course, Wonder Woman.

‘’By now you’ve heard: WB isn’t going to Hall H this year,” Jenkins tweeted alongside the image, which features a prismatic backdrop. “We’re so sad to miss you there! And waiting until Dec. to start our official #WW84 campaign in full– But the truth is… we can just… barely… wait…” Jenkins tweeted.

Gadot also sharing the excitement for the same took to her Twitter account for the exciting news, "I cannot wait to share #WW84 with you all!! Until then we thought you might want to see this.." 

Wonder Woman 84 according to reports is set to follow Diana during the Cold War as she comes into conflict with the Soviet Union and will see also be seeing the return of Chris Pine as Steve Trevor. Several new characters to join the sequel, including Kristen Wiig as the archeologist Barbara Ann Minerva/Cheetah, Game of Thrones Pedro Pascal in an unknown role, Kelvin Yu as Jake, Lyon Beckwith as Buzz, and many others.

Wonder Woman 1984 hits theaters June 5, 2020.
