But just before his coronation ceremony, the entire scenario changes as there comes the angle of Devasena (played by Anushka Shetty) and Baahubali's love story. However, soon we see Baahubali back as a valiant warrior who impresses Devasena with his courage. Then comes a twist of love triangle, which worsens things for Baahubali. However, despite being everyone's favourite, Baahubali and Devsena have to face the brunt of Bhallaldev's anger and the fire of hatred is evidently visible in his eyes. But as we know, Indian Cinema has the trend of showing the good winning over the evil, so happens with the movie as well where Mahendra Baahubali (played by Prabhas again), who is Amrendra Baahubali's son takes the revenge from Bhallaldeva and take a hold of his legacy. Rajamouli has done an excellent job when it comes to screenplay and direction as he has been successful in giving the audience a larger than life experience. Besides, each character has given a par excellence performance doing complete justice to their role. However, apart from the main leads, it was Ramaya's portrayal as Shivgamini that needs special mention.
Rajamouli took special account for the exotic locations for this war saga to make you feel a part of the mythical cities be it the impressive waterfall beside the Mahishmati Kingdom or the nature-filled sequences which indeed raised the romance quotient in Baahubali-Devasena's love-story. Besides, he also kept a track of the looks of all the key characters, giving a proper glimpse of a royale and later a warrior when and where required. In fact, one could easily differentiate between the aura of Amrendra Baahubali with that of his son given that Mahendra was brought up as a local unlike his father.
What else keep you glued to seats was the heart-touching and powerful dialogues accompanied by the unimpeachable dialogue delivery by the cast doing complete justice to their respective roles.
Notably the entire team work has made incredible efforts over visual effects and CGI work to make every segment seem like something straight out of a painting. Besides, the prodigious action sequences and war-tactics wins bonus point for Rajamouli.
From stunning locations to breath-taking action sequences, mind-blowing war tactics, stupendous CGI work, 'Baahubali 2' has everything to make it a marvel piece, which keeps you intrigued till the end.
