After the stupendous success of Baahubali 2, fans had been waiting with bated breath for Prabhas’ next action flick, Saaho. While we saw Prabhas in a royal avatar in Baahubali 2, the actor was seen in quite a different role in Saaho. The high-octane action sequences are best for moviegoers who are in love with action films. However, the film is marred by a weak narrative as the director has tried to make an action film on a simple storyline.
The plot of the film revolves around a robbery of Rs 2000 crore in Mumbai. Prabhas plays an undercover police officer who is out to investigate this theft. He fights criminals like a pro and with Hollywood’s action director Kenny Bates directing the action sequences, Saaho promises to be an extravagant spectacle for moviegoers. Shraddha Kapoor plays crime branch officer Amrita Nair and Prabhas’ love interest in the film. Shraddha delivers what’s offered to her and plays her part decently. The film moves forward with entry of villains and new twists. In short, director Sujeeth has tried hard to make a weak storyline into Baahubali.

Prabhas has done exceptionally well when it comes to acting. His slow dialogue delivery has managed to win hearts at quite a few places. The actor’s presence takes over the screen. Another actor who manages to grab the attention is Chunkey Panday. His onscreen presence and acting has managed to leave the audience impressed. Coming back to music, the songs seem to have been forcefully added in the film. Talking about action sequences, Sujeeth has proved that Hollywood style action can be used in Hindi Film industry as well. The cinematography and graphics are exceptionally well. Direction is good, but the storyline is weak. In short, Saaho is a treat for those who are die-hard fans of Prabhas.
