Rapper 50 Cent has come under immense criticism for making a cryptic comment on Michael Jackson while congratulating his friend Chris Brown. Cent in a now deleted post congratulated Brown that listed the ‘With You’ singer RIAA certifications. His congratulatory note however was not without a diss on Michael Jackson’s alleged child abuse allegations.
In his initial social media tweet which he later removed that shows Brown has become the 7th best single artists of all time, Cent wrote, ‘’CB better then MJ to me now. I can’t believe mike wanted to touch the little boys booty’’
He later deleted the post, only to share another which said: ‘all I said was I think CB is better than MJ now. after I saw the documentary, The little boys butts will never be the same’.
Both Cent’s posts were in reference to allegations made against Jackson by put Wade Robson and James Safechuck in ‘Leaving Neverland’ which Jackson’s family has termed it a ‘one-sided marathon’.
Given the fact that Brown has had history with allegedly abusing women notoriously Brown’s arrest in 2009 for assaulting then girlified Rihanna which he pleaded ‘guilty’ to, the post from 50 Cent angered his followers, many of whom called him a hypocrite for supporting Brown.
Brown has in fact also expressed remorse over the altercation with Rihanna, saying he ‘felt like a f*cking monster’ after Rihanna’s picture with bruised face circulated worldwide.
