Justin Timberlake postpones MSG concert in New York City

Justin Timberlake’s concert at New York City's Madison Square Garden has been postponed as his vocal cords have been "severely bruised".

The singer took to Instagram to announced rescheduling of the NY concert. He said that his vocal cords are severely bruised and his doctor has advised him to reschedule his Madison Square Garden (MSG) concert.

"Hey guys, I'm sorry to announce I have to postpone the show at MSG tonight on doctor's orders. My vocal cords are severely bruised,” Justin posted.

The 37-year-old musician promised to make it up for it on his birthday – January 31.

"I'm gonna make this up to you and the new show will be on my birthday, January 31. More info to come. Again, I'm so sorry to do this, but excited to see you soon," he wrote.

Just two hours before the postponement, MSG tweeted about the singer's second gig at the venue. He had performed in Madison Square Garden on Monday.

Timberlake’s fifth album 'Man of the Woods' as released in February. Since then, he embarked on a North American tour in support of the LP in March. The second leg of the tour began in September.
