Kanika Kapoor Discharged From Hospital After Testing Negative For COVID-19 In Sixth Test

Baby Doll singer Kanika Kapoor, the first Bollywood celeb top contract the novel coronavirus disease has been discharged from hospital after testing negative for her last two tests.

Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor tas tested negative for COVID-19 in the final test after testing positive four times in a row. Her fifth test also tests negative comfirming the doctors that she is finally responding to the treatment. The Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences where the singer was admitted for the last 20 days has finally discharged her, allowing the family to take her home.

The health professionals at the Lucknow hospital earlier said that she will be kept in an isolation for another 14 days after she tests negative for COVID-19 two times in a row to make sure that the symptoms donot return. 

Recently one of her family members told IANS that she lately is not responding to any kind of treatment and the wish to airlife her to advanced medical care but cannot do so amid nationwide lockdown. Rumours were also rife that Kanika was put in the ICU because of her deteriorating health condition. However, in an Instagram post made on Monday, she refuted all the rumours and mentioned that she’s stable

Kanika Kpaoor returned to India from UK on March 09 and was taken to quarantine facility at Lucknow hospital on March 20 after she reported symptoms and tested positive. Meanhwile, she was in contact with more than 200 people including influential political leaders, entrepreuners. Hopefully none of her associates tested positive. FIR was also lodged by Lucknow policeagainst the singer for negligence, concealing facts and putting the public in danger.

Meanwhile the popular voice complained about the facilities and treatment she was provided at the hospital. In an earlier interview to The Times of India, Kanika had said she was not given food or any medicine at the hospital after she reported for symptoms and even was ignored when she asked the staff to clean her isolation ward.
