Kanye West who is to release his ninth album, Jesus Is King this Sunday is very sure that is the greatest human artist of all time. The rapper and fashion icon sitting down with radio DJ Zane Lowe for an interview made the eye-rolling claim which many may beg to differ.
"I am unquestionably, undoubtedly, the greatest human artist of all time.
"It's not even a question at this point. It's just a fact’’ the rapper insists.
As for his album, Jesus Is King will be the latest release after his conversion to the Christianity. Explaining his new found belief West said, "Now that I'm in service to Christ, my job is to spread the gospel, to let people know what Jesus has done for me.
"I've spread a lot of things. There was a time I was letting you know what high fashion had done for me, I was letting you know what the Hennessey had done for me."
He also suggested that his new-found faith made him let-go off his grudges against fellow brother Drake with whom West had a bad tussle with,
"Me and Drake had this disagreement and he refused to speak to me for six months.
"That was so painful. You cannot be in service to God and be mad at your brother next door. I go to Drake's house with no security and just leave my number.
"God is funny. Drake lives four blocks down the street from me. So that shows you that God has a sense of humour."
Reinstating his earlier announcement that he will one day run for the President of the United States while talking about his faith, West added,
"There will be a time when I will be President of the United States and I will remember any founder that didn't have the capacity to understand culturally what we're doing."
