Iconic rock band, Queen will be performing at the Oscars following the blockbuster success on the movie, Bohemian Rhapsody which is centered on the life of the legendary rocker, Freddie Mercury. The rock band announced on February 24 that they will perform at the Academy Awards ceremony after receiving massive of Bohemian Rhapsody. "Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? We welcome @QueenWillRock and @adamlambert to this year's Oscars!," the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced on its official Twitter feed.

The band now performs under the name Queen + Adam Lambert, with two of the four original members, guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor, fronted by former American Idol star Adam Lambert.
Season 8, American Idol, first runner up Adam Lambert also took his excitement on Twitter, he tweeted, "We will rock The Oscars,".

Bohemian Rhapsody is up for five Oscars including Sound Editing, Sound Mixing, and Film Editing and Rami Malek nominated in the Best Actor category for his performance as Mercury.
