Bohemian Rhapsody, the Freddie Mercury/Queen biopic is on track to become the biggest grossing music biopic of all time. Hence, much to the name of Mercury and the legendary rock band, Queen, founding members Brian May and Roger Taylor once again have announced that their team up with singer Adam Lambert to tour North America next year.
The ‘Rhapsody Tour’ is scheduled to kick off on July 10 in Vancouver, British Columbia and will wrap on August 23 in Charlotte, North Carolina and promises to be “as experimental and rule-defying as the hit-packed Queen back catalog.”
Guitarist Brain May said in a statement, “This is a great opportunity. Our last tour featured our most ambitious production ever, and got us our best notices ever. So we decided to rip it apart and get even more ambitious! Watch out, America!”

Tickets are expected to go up on sale for the public starting December 7 at LiveNation.com at 10 am local time.
“This new show promises to be their most spectacular yet, an innovative and interactive celebration of the continued power of Queen’s music,” said set designer Ric Lipson of Stufish Entertainment Architects.
Adam Lambert, who rose to fame after the American Idol season eight finale, has collaborated with the rock band in Queen and Adam Lambert since 2011. Together they’ve had played more than 180 shows. The line-up for the tour is complete with Lambert on the vocals, Spike Edney on keyboards, Neil Fairclough on bass, and Tyler Warren on percussion.
