Ranu was recently trolled on social media when her make-up artist apparently overdid her make-up for an event. Soon, her make-up artist cleared the air about Ranu's picture which was doing rounds of the internet and mentioned that it was fake. Sandhya (Ranu's makeup artist ) had captioned her Instagram post as, "As you can see, this is the difference between the work that we have done and the 'Fake' picture that has been edited to an extent. All the jokes and trolls are fine and they make us laugh too but to hurt someone sentiments, that's not a very good thing to do. We truly hope that you all will understand the truth and realise the difference between the fake one and the one that is genuine. That's all we ask for."
Meanwhile, talking about her earlier life, Ranu had recently revealed, ''I wasn’t born on a footpath. I belonged to a well-to-do family but it was my destiny. I got separated from my parents when I was just six months old. We shifted from West Bengal to Mumbai after marriage,'' Ranu stated. ''My husband worked at filmstar Feroz Khan’s house as a cook. His son Fardeen was in college at that time. They used to treat us very well, like family members, " she added.
