VMA’S has had lot of awkward moments but none as awkward as that of 2009 when Kanye West crashed Taylor Swift’s speech on stage while she was accepting the best female video for ‘You Belong To Me’. Ten years later, TayTay who once again won ‘video of the year’ 2019 for ‘You Need to Calm Down’ is making West know that she is not over the infamous moment. Before taking the stage in all shades of colours with back-up singers, drag queens, and a giant rainbow, the Lover singer during her pre-show interview subtly yet not-subtly said, ‘You never know what can happen on this show, as I’ve learned’’.

“But we’re just probably going to figure out a way to celebrate anyway’’ the Grammy award winner said.
O go back to one of the most awkward moments, West in 2009 made headlines for all the wrong reasons when he stormed the stage and declared that Beyoncé deserved to win Female Video of the Year for “Single Ladies” over Swift’s “You Belong With Me.”
“Yo, Taylor. I’m really happy for you. I’mma let you finish. But Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time!” the rapper exclaimed at the time. “One of the best videos of all time!’’ the rapper announced on the stage.
As for Beyoncé who looked beyond shocked at the camera recently admitted that she cried backstage for the humiliating moment at her expense.
