Taylor Swift's stalker strikes again! Just nearly a year after stalker Ricardo Alvarado, 23, was arrested for breaking and entering using a shovel, the stalker has been arrested for the same. This invasion of private property and stalking happened just days after singer Taylor Swift day expressed fears over her safety after multiple home invasions.
Following the breaking and entering, the man seemingly obsessed with the singer was arrested early Thursday morning after he reportedly climbed a ladder to the second-floor window of Swift’s townhouse in the Manhattan neighborhood of Tribeca, a New York City Police Department spokesperson told HuffPost.
According to ABC News, Alvarado allegedly used a concrete brick to break in through a glass window, which tripped an alarm and the police were called. Officers arrested Alvarado at the scene around 2:30 a.m. He faces charges of stalking, burglary, illegal entry, criminal mischief, criminal contempt and possession of burglary tools, the NYPD spokesperson confirmed.

Swift was reportedly not at home during the breaking and entering as the apartment is believed to be undergoing a renovation. She is reported to be with her rumoured boyfried Joe Alwyn after the duo was spotted in Los Angeles. Stalker Alvarado, who was also issued a restraining order was also convicted in December 2018 over the April break-in, and a judge ordered that he undergo psychiatric treatment.
