Actor Aditi Rao Hydari is set to star opposite Vijay Sethupathi in Tamil film "Tughlaq Durbar".
The announcement was made by Seven Screen Studio, the production company behind the project, on its official Twitter handle on Friday. "We would like to welcome the gorgeous @aditiraohydari on-board for our next flick #TughlaqDurbar !! @Viacom18Studios @VijaySethuOffl @DDeenadayaln @Lalit_SevenScr @govind_vasantha @iamarunviswa @LokeshJey @proyuvraaj" read the company's post.
This will be the first time Vijay and Aditi will appear together in a film. Actor, director, and lyric writer Parthiepan will be seen playing a key role in the film.
Tughlaq Darbar is said to be a political fantasy and the actors will get the chance to play off-beat characters.

Govindh Vasantha will be composing the music for Tughlaq Darbar while Balaji Tharaneetharan has been roped in to pen the dialogues. Tughlaq Darbar was announced earlier this year, but the film failed to go on floors as per the initial schedule, as per reports.
The film, directed by Delhi Prasad Deenadayalan, will also feature actor R Parthiban. Seven Screen Studio is producing the film in collaboration with Viacom 18 Studios. Govind Vasantha will be serving as the music composer on the film and Balaji Tharaneetharan will be penning the dialogues.
Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi will also be seen in Sanga Tamizhan which also stars Nivetha Pethuraj and Raashi Khanna. The movie is looking for to a Diwali release. On the other hand, Aditi will be seen in Dhanush's next directorial venture which stars Nagarjuna Akkineni as one of the leads.
