In 2018, Nagarjuna had bashed the reality show, saying, "I don't like the concept of the show Bigg Boss. I don't like a voyeuristic show, where you are watching what another person is doing. I don't like these things. It is almost like gossiping."
Meanwhile, Tamanna Simhadri became the first wild card entrant on the show. For those who don’t know, Tamanna is the first transgender woman to enter the Bigg Boss house.
''I feel very happy. I should say this was my dream as I kept wondering what I would do had I been there inside the (Bigg Boss) house. I feel lucky to have got this opportunity to enter the show during the third season of Bigg Boss Telugu,'' she told Bigg Boss Telugu 3 host Nagarjuna.
