The makers of Mahesh Babu's next Sarileru Neekevvaru gave fans a treat on the actor's 44th birthday. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film is touted to be a family drama with a stellar cast. In the 40-second long teaser, we are introduced to Mahesh Babu's character, who is an Army man serving in Kashmir.
The makers of Sarileru Neekevvaru are currently shooting in Hyderabad, after wrapping up the shoot in Hyderabad. The film boasts an ensemble cast including Rashmika Mandanna, Vijayshanti and Prakash Raj.

The film is all set to hit the screens on Sankranti 2020. Sarileru Neekevvaru is jointly produced by AK Entertainments, Sri Venkateswara Creations and G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment.
Mahesh Babu was last seen Maharshi which was a super hit. Mahesh had announced during Maharshi promotions about signing two films with Anil. He said, ''My previous outings were very intense projects. So, once I wanted to do a full-length entertainer like Dookudu, I thought to come out from my comfort zone. It would be a refreshing start for me as well. That’s why I selected Anil Ravipudi’s script. The movie is a crucial subject with a blend of entertainment and message.''
Sankranti is a very popular period of the year for makers to plan their film releases.
