After Sreesanth, two more Indian cricketers are all set to enter the world of glamour and glitz. Two Indian cricketers, Irfan Pathan and Harbhajan Singh are planning their break from sports by foraying into Kollywood.
While cricketer Irfan Pathan will feature in the upcoming Vikram film, tentatively titled “Vikram 58”, in a prominent role, Harbhajan Singh will debut in the Santhanam-starrer Dikkiloona.
Irfan’s film will be directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu and produced by Lalith Kumar’s Seven Screen Studio while, Harbhajan’s Dikkiloona will be directed by Karthik Yogi and produced by KJR Studios and Soldiers Factory.

Irfan without revealing much about the role also shared the news, “New venture, new challenge looking forward to it”

Harbhajan and director Santhanam too shared the news of their collaboration on Twitter. ” We are very excited about this collaboration with @harbhajan_singh ! Welcome aboard said his tweet.”

Incidentally, Harbhajan Singh's wife Geeta Basra is a Bollywood actress first seen in the Emraan Hashmi-starrer Dil Diya Hai in 2006. Her second release, The Train (2007), was also opposite Hashmi.
The principal photography for the Vikram film will begin soon, and it will be shot in multiple locations across India and different countries, states a press release. While AR Rahman will be scoring the music for this big project, Sivakumar Vijayan will be responsible for camerawork in this film that sees Vikram teaming up with Ajay Gnanamuthu, who is known for Demonte Colony and Imaikka Nodigal.
