Kamal Haasan recently hit Twitter trends after a notice by the Greater Chennai Corporation stuck outside the actor-turned-politician claiming that the actor is under 'home quarantine' did round. The corporation removed the same making an excuse that it was done by mistake. Confusion ran among his fans about the health and well being of the 'Indian' actor.
Haasan clarifying all the confusion in a statement said that the news of being quarantined holds no merit as he has not been living there for some years now. "Based on the notice outside my house, news has spread saying that I have been quarantined. But most of you already know that I have not been living there for the past few years and the Makkal Needhi Maiam party office has been functioning from there. So, the news that I have been quarantined, is not true." said Haasan and reported IANS.

Murali Apaas, the spokesperson of Haasan's party, MNM has also said that the corporation without making any enquiry has stuck the notice as a protocol they have been following for all who have returned from foreign nations where Coronavirus hs spread.

Hasaan, actor daughter Shruti has been practicing self-isolation after she returned from London a couple of weeks ago. Hassan has also offered to convert his old house in a temporary hospital with isolation wards to treat coronavirus patients.
