Malayalam actor Vijayan Peringode is no more

Malayalam film actor Vijayan Peringode breathed his last on Wednesdayin Kerala at Palakkad following heart ailments. Vijayan was 67 and is survived by wife and three children.

Known for his significant roles in many blockbuster movies, Vijayan had a strong presence in Malayam films.

The 'Sathyan Anthikad' actor joined the film industry with his debut film "Asthram", helmed by director P N Menon in the year 1983. The actor starred in over 40 films, including "Lal Jose", "Meesamadhavan", "Mambazham", "Pattalam", "Achuvinte Amma" and "Rakshadhikari Baiju" in his over three-decades-long career.
