Nerkonda Paarvai box-office collection: Ajith’s film is on fire, here’s how much it collected in 4 days

The official Tamil remake of Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu starrer Pink, Nerkonda Paarvai featuring Ajith, Shraddha Srinath, Abirami Venkatachalam and Andrea Tariang in the lead roles, has managed to impress audiences and critics alike. Directed by H Vinoth, the social drama is produced by Boney Kapoor.

Nerkonda Paarvai has managed to earn Rs 5.5 crore in Chennai alone in just four days of its release. Further, the film has managed to earn over Rs 1 crore back-to-back for four days. Also, the movie has broken the record of Ajith’s other film Viswasam which had collected Rs 2.40 crore (Rs 90 lakh, Rs 41 lakh, Rs 45 lakh and Rs 64 lakh in four days).

Coming to Tamil Nadu, Nerkonda Paarvai minted approximately Rs 14 crore on the opening day. In four days, the movie is estimated to have grossed around Rs 38-40 crore.

Boney Kapoor is ecstatic that the film is being received well across the world. He took to Twitter and wrote, "*Nerkonda Paarvai shatters all records, grosses over 1 Million USD at the Overseas Box Office* (sic)"

The film, which has Vidya Balan in a cameo role, talks about women's safety, the concept of consent, entitled behaviour and patriarchy.
