After creating ripples in Japan, Prabhas starrer Baahubali 2: The Conclusion hit the silver screens in China on may 4. The SS Rajamouli directorial has managed to woo the Chinese audience with its interesting plot and impeccable performances of the lead actors.
The flick which also stars Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Ramya Krishnan has debuted on the third position beating Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The fantasy drama minted Rs 16.24 crore on Friday to start its run in China on a huge note.
Bollywood critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box office collection of Baahubali 2 in China on social media. Though the film couldn’t beat Hindi Medium and Secret Superstar’s opening collections, Baahubali 2 left a strong impression on the audience in the neighbouring country.Â

Baahubali 2, which released in India on April 28. 2017, became the first Indian film to cross the magical Rs 500 crore mark. Made on a budget of Rs 2.5 billion, the film was made in Telugu and later dubbed in other languages.
Baahubali 2 has raked in Rs 1,750 crore till date and is the second highest grosser behind Aamir Khan starrer Dangal. The film made Prabhas a household name and turned him into one of the most sought-after actors in India.Â
