Priya Prakash Varrier and Roshan Abdul Rahoof’s much anticipated film Oru Adaar Love released on Valentine’s Day. However, the film didn’t receive good reviews and was not successful in impressing the audience and critics alike.

After having received a negative response to the film particularly due to the tragic end, the director has now changed it to a pleasant, positive one. Director Omar Lulu confirmed the news to Manorama and said that the new version of the film will release in theatres shortly.

He said, ''We re-shot the climax in a day’s time and a 10-minute sequence will replace the existing climax. Apart from this, around 10 minutes from the total duration of the movie has been cut. The new version will hit the screens from Wednesday noon show.”

Oru Adaar Love revolves around teenage romance and friendship. Priya became a household name after her ‘wink-video’ went viral last year. Recently, Priya opened up about the ‘wink girl’ tag and how it affected her daily life even to a point that she had to be kept under house arrest.

In an interview with Indian Express, Priya said, ''We were trying to handle it together. Because everything was new to me as well as my family. It is true that I was not given cell phones or anything. For a few days I was under house arrest and I was not allowed to go out because my parents were tensed. The media people would turn up at my door without even informing.''

The actress is also set to make her Bollywood debut with the film, Sridevi Bungalow, directed by Prashanth Mambully. Ever since the release of its first teaser, the film has been caught in an abyss of a controversy as the movie is allegedly said to be based on the late actress, Sridevi's life.
