Ram Charan Follows Chiranjeevi's Footstep; Joins Twitter To Announce Contribution To Coronavirus Relief Fund

Just a day after SS Rajamouli revealed the motion poster of his upcoming magnum opus RRR, its lead actor Ram Charan re-entered the social media world with Twitter.

Just a day after SS Rajamouli revealed the motion poster of his upcoming magnum opus RRR, its lead actor Ram Charan re-entered the social media world with Twitter. Co-incidentally Ram Charan's father, veteran Telegu actor Chiranjeevi made his much-awaited social media debut on the occasion of Ugadi, The Telegu and Kannada new year on Wednesday.

In his maiden Tweet in his brand new profile Ram Charan with the verified handle @AlwaysRamCharan, paid his gratitude to uncle Pawan Kalyan for motivating him to contribute his bit to the Tamil and Telegu daily wager cine workers relief funds amid the coronavirus outbreak. "Hope this tweet finds you in good health. At this hour of crisis, inspired by Pawan Kalyan garu, I want to do my bit by contributing to aid the laudable efforts of our governments. Hope you all are staying safe at home," said his first tweet

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth, Suriya, Sivakarthikeyan and Vijay Sethupathi have already contributed a total sum of Rs 80 lakh towards the welfare of employees of Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI) who were on a per-day payroll.

Ram Charan, who had joined Instagram last year, is said to have made his Twitter debut sometime in 2010 but that profile became inactive over time.

Chiranjeevi's maiden Insta post, on the other hand, was about spending quarantine time practicing social distancing with mother amid the coronavirus lockdown. "Home time... mom time! This New Year's Day, let's resolve to defeat this global health crisis with awareness and responsibility. Let's especially care for our parents and elders during this time," said his post. Soon other Tamil prominent actors from NagarjunaMohanlal, Raadhika Sarathkumar and Kajal Aggarwal  and filmmaker SS Rajamouli followed him and cheered for his social media grand entry among others.

Just like dad Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan's first Instagram post was also about spending time with family and all love for his mother. "Some things never change! Dedicating my first post to you. Love you Amma," he had written in July last year.

Fans were are all hearts for their social media entry. Some of them commented, "The Cub Follows The Lion" . Meanwhile, other Bollywood celebs are also increasingly becoming more active on Instagram asking followers to main social distancing and doing all household chores by themselves, giving their house helps a break.
