Telegu filmmaker SS Rajamouli amid the coronavirus lockdown has surprised fans with the motion poster of his magnum opus, RRR now titled Roudram Ranam Rudhiram. The motion poster comes as a Ugadi or Telegu new year gift for movie buffs and with its stellar star cast ranging from Tollywood, Bollywood and even Hollywood is much awaited.
The motion poster introduces the film’s lead characters Ram Charan and Jr NTR in lead roles. Jr. NTR and Ram Charan will be seen as Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju in the period drama which will also have a modern-day rerun. According to the motion poster Jr, NTR represent the force of water and Ram Charan the rage of fire and the movie is about uniting the two forces for a free India.

RRR is titled Raththam Ranam Rowthiram in Tamil and Rise Roar Revolt in Hindi.
Rajamouli during the announcement of the film said that “RRR” will be set in 1920s pre-independence era and will showcase the story of two well-known revolutionaries – Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem.

“This will be a fictional story on the lives of Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. There are gaps in the lives of these legendary freedom fighters that we don’t know about. We don’t know what happened in their lives in these years. It is through this fictional story we’d like to show what could have happened in their lives and what would have happened if they met and bonded,” Rajamouli said, Taking a new direction, Rajamouli wishes to depict the heroes in a monumental way against the typical rebellion and struggling phase.
RRR also stars Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn apart from Hollywood actors like Olivia Morris, Ray Stevenson and Alison Doody. Earlier it was reported Alia has stepped out of the project however the actress shared the motion picture curbing all rumours. She will be seen in an extended cameo opposite Ram Charan.

RRR is scheduled to release in ten Indian languages on January 8, 2021. The movie is mounted on a huge scale of 350-400 crores and like other Rajamouli movies will match the grandeur and elaborate set up like Baahubali.
