Bigg Boss 11 was one of the most watched and talked about shows in recent times. The popular reality show managed to keep the viewers entertained throughout its three months long journey.
The grand finale of BB11 was nothing short of a blockbuster affair. After keeping the viewers on the edge of their seats, Salman Khan announced Shilpa Shinde as the winner.
The Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain actress defeated Hina Khan, Vikas Gupta and Puneesh Sharma to win the coveted trophy. Though, the other three finalists didn’t win the crown, but they ended up winning the hearts of the people.
The show was not only watched by commoners but celebrities as well. One such celeb was Kamya Panjabi.
The ‘Maryada: Lekin Kab Tak’ actress had openly expressed her views on the show, having participated in the seventh season of Bigg Boss. News Nation recently got in touch with Kamya to know her take on the Bigg Boss 11 finalists.

The beautiful actress has been a vocal supporter of Vikas Gupta throughout the season. When asked about his good run in the show, Kamya said ‘’ I am very happy for Vikas, for us he is a winner. We would like to celebrate Vikas’s victory’’.
Interestingly, Kamya and BB11 winner Shilpa Shinde were at the same party organised by Rashmi Sharma. When we asked Kamya whether she met Shilpa, she said,’’ I will never meet Shilpa in my life no matter what happens’’.
‘’Shilpa, in one of the episodes of BB11 had used the word ‘transgender’ for Vikas Gupta. I will never talk to a person who uses this word to defame someone’’, Kamya said.
‘’I am part of a show, ‘Shakti-Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki' for the past two years, where I work with transgenders. I would love to correct anyone who uses the word transgender as an abuse. I know how the transgenders struggle for social change and visibility in their daily life. We are doing the show to create awareness among the people so I don’t appreciate whatever Shilpa said on national television’’, added the BB7 contestant.
I started liking her (Shilpa) after the fifth week but her behaviour with Vikas can’t be justified as he didn’t deserve such treatment. Everyone knows Vikas didn’t remove her from the show’’, said Kamya.
