The recent controversy surrounding comedian Sunil Grover's assault has taken the tinselvile with a storm and is now seem to be turning into a catastrophe especially for Kapil Sharma.
According to the media reports, this entire fiasco might make Sharma suffer a loss of Rs 107 crore.
Reportedly, after his nasty brawl with Grover and the entire criticism Kapil has garnered, Sony Entertainment Channel has decided to pull down 'The Kapil Sharma Show'.
The media reports suggest that, in the wake of the recent incidents, the channel in no mood to renew its Rs 107 crore with TKSS as Kapil's spat with Grover has affected the show adversely.

The decision reportedly taken after several members of TKSS team including Ali Asgar and Chandar Prabhakar chose to boycott host Kapil Sharma and left the show.
"Their contract ends in April and Kapil was being paid Rs 107 crore for a renewal. Now, that seems unlikely," a source reportedly told DNA.

The source further added, "Despite it being the flagrunner of a show on the channel, the makers might have to take a tough decision as they fear that post this, they will lose out on the TRPs. Even celebrities aren't really willing to turn up for the episodes".
While no official announcement about TKSS going off air has been made so far, if the reports turned to be true it will indeed be a major jolt for Kapil Sharma.
We wonder, how Kapil is planning to deal with this trouble.
