Actor Ali Asgar had been an integral part of The Kapil Sharma Show until he quit the popular show following the infamous mid-air scuffle between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover.
Now as the reports of The Kapil Sharma Show going off air are pouring in, Ali has opened up.
"I was his well-wisher, I am his well-wisher and will always be his well-wisher. I have learnt a lot from him. I wish him a speedy recovery and wish he comes back with a bang," Ali told Mumbai Mirror.
Kapil Sharma had announced that his show will go off Sony TV as he was honoring multiple commitments and battling ill-health. Ali Asgar has joined hands with his rival Krushna Abhishek after parting ways with Kapil for a new comedy show The Drama Company.
"Though it is been just over a month with Drama Company, the experience has been exciting. We are dragging and experimenting with similar male and female characters only, but the premise of every episode is different so I get a chance to play different characters. In a way every time we shoot an episode, we offer a new drama altogether with all new characters so that excitement keeps me going," he told the Mumbai tabloid.
Ali Asgar had said in an interview that he left TKSS primarily because his role was not going anywhere.
