New Delhi:

Television actor Ali Asgar has finally opened up on his exit from 'The Kapil Sharma Show' and cleared that he didn't left the show because of Sunil Grover's much hyped tiff with host Kapil Sharma. Instead, Ali aserted that moved out post creative differences with Kapil and his team. Ali was seen as Kapil Sharma's nani on the show and is much loved for his womanly avatar.

Interestingly, there were reports that the actor left the show after Kapil allegedly assaulted co-star Sunil Grover during a flight which resulted in a controversy. The reports also suggested that not just Sunil and Ali, Chandan Prbhakar and Sugandha Mishra too walked out of TKSS post the ugly fight.

But contrary to the reports, Ali said he called it quits with TKSS as there was no scope of improvement left for his character.

"I don’t like to think it like that. Whatever happened was unfortunate. I was part of that team and I have many memories of our shows — both Comedy Nights With Kapil (CNWK) and TKKS. The truth is, I opted out of the show as I wasn’t happy with my role in TKKS. While Dadi from CNWK was much loved and had a lot to do, Nani in TKKS wasn’t shaping up well. I gave the show a year hoping things would get better, but my character didn’t get the attention it deserved," Ali Asgar stated in a report published in Hindustan Times.

He also asserted that he doesn't hold any grudges with Kapil or his team post exit and said, "I don’t have a grouse with Kapil. I kept mum earlier, as people interpret things differently, and facts are presented in a different light. I didn’t want to say anything, as I get scared of these things."

Interestingly, the walk out of four members from TKSS did hamper the TRP of the show, but Kapil Sharma seem to be working hard to get his show back on track.

On the other hand, there are reports of Ali, Sugandha and other members of Kapil Sharma's team - his creative director Preeti Simoes, her sister Neeti and Sanket Bhosle have joined the show of Sharma's arch rival Krushna Abhishek and will soon bring on a new comedy show which is tentatively titled as 'Comedy Company'.

While Krushna confirmed the news about the show, he refused to divulge details about the cast and said "Tentatively titled Comedy Company , it will revolve around a family that intends to pursue theater. Like Kapil, Krushna will also invite celebrities and converse with them during the course of the show."

We wonder, how Kapil is planning to deal with this new competition.
