Ali Asgar, who was earlier part of popular comedy show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ and now has joined its rival show ‘The Drama Company’ finally reveals the reason for his departure from the show.
‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, is struggling these days to earn a decent rating, since the walking out of its main starcast after the mid-air flight controversy. Ali who used to play ‘Pushpa Nani’ in the show, opens up on what made him leave the show.
He said, "I was not happy with the way my character shaped up, it had no definition. I felt people at some point would get bored watching me play grandmother and I had to do something else. I would get little to do in the last few minutes of the episode’’.
Speaking further over the spat between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover, Ali said that it was unfortunate that such incident occurred.
However, when asked about returning to the show, he said that he does not hold any grudge against Kapil, “Maine koi kasam nahi khayi uske saath nai kaam karne ki. He was the captain of the ship where I used to work. That project did not work out, that's it’’.
It would be interesting to see what happens next or how the things turn-up eventually. However, Fans are desperately awaiting the reunion of the complete starcast on the show.
