Amitabh Bachchan is all set to come back on small screen with the 11th season of one of the most popular quiz shows, Kaun Banega Crorepati. The registration for show began in May and if reports are to be believed, Big B is all set to start shooting for KBC 11 with the show going on air from August 1.
A source informed Pinkvilla, "Amitabh Bachchan will begin shooting for the show from August 1. The contestants for the show are currently being locked. Given that the channel will be launching another show before KBC, they are yet to fix the premiere date but mostly it will go on air in the third week of August, 19th August. Final discussion on the same is ongoing though."
However, the makers are yet to confirm the same. Interestingly, KBC 11 will clash with Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 13. Speaking about his association with the general knowledge-based game show, Big B on his blog wrote, "It's 2019 and it all began in 2000. 19 years and a gap of about two years when it did not happen for me. But 17 years is a lifetime and a lifetime that was given a lifeline by you."
Apart from this, Amitabh Bachchan is also busy shooting for his forthcoming film, Gulabo Sitabo. The film also stars Ayushmann Khurrana in a prominent role. Directed by Shoojit Sircar, the film is slated to hit the screens on 24 April, 2020.
