Renowned singer Armaan Malik has quashed the reports of him walking out The Kapil Sharma Show and lashed out at the media for creating basless controversies.
It was reported that Armaan, who had come to the show along with his brother Amaal Malik apparently stormed out of the sets in the middle of the show.
However, the 'Wajah Tum Ho' Singer dissed the reports on social networking site Facebook.
Malik not just stated that he left the show because of an urgent meeting about which the makers were informed before the shooting.
Besides, he also praised Kapil Sharma and asserted these controversies are an attempt to bring down the comedian.
Armaan wrote, "Just saw a few articles about me and my brother leaving the Kapil Sharma Show from the sets. It's totally wrong and bullshit. Let me just clarify - I was not supposed to go to the Kapil Sharma Show. I was in Bhubaneshwar (Orissa) for a show at the time and Amaal did not attend it because he had an important meeting. All this was conveyed by our management to the people concerned at the show. Stupid how people make controversies and try to bring #KapilSharma down. He is a very talented artist and me & Amaal Mallik had an amazing time the last time we were on the show. A kind request to the Media - Please find better news to publish rather than making stupid stories and trying to tarnish a man's image. Love and Peace always. Onwards and upwards, no looking back."
Although, Armaan has cleared the air, it seems that The Kapil Sharma Show seems to has become the controversy's favourite child.
The show has been hitting the headlines lately for the much hyped fiasco between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover.
For the uninitiated Kapil Sharma had allegedly assaulted Sunil Grover during a flight and even reportedly throw his shoe at him.
This incident raked up a controversy and Sunil left The Kapil Sharma Show where he was seen playing Dr Mashoor Gulati.
