Beyhadh 2 starring Jennifer Winget and Shiving Narang premiered on December 2, 2019, and received a thunderous response from the audience for its storyline and terrific performances of the lead cast. However, the show has failed to leave a mark on TRP charts since beginning. And as per the latest buzz, Beyhadh 2 might go off air soon but it will continue to air digitally.
A source informed Pinkvilla, "Given that the show has failed to grab TRP's, the channel overnight took the decision of pulling the plug of the show on Television but as the show has been performing well on their platform, the channel will continue to push the show digitally."
The reports further state the last episode of the show will air on March 13.
Talking about her character, Jennifer Winget recently told Pinkvilla, ''We have established the character pretty well now and we did not want it to be repetitive. So, this time, the concentration is more on the story than the character.''
She added, ''We have taken traits of Maya from the previous season and taken the thought of her and weaved it into a new story with an agenda. So last time, it was all about her obsession with love, this time it is revenge. So, the obsession part is the same, but the reason for it is different. And when that changes, automatically the way she reacts to things changes. We are aware of the fact that there will be comparisons, so, it is a very thin line we are treading on.''
Meanwhile, Beyhadh 2's current plot is high on-drama as Maya and MJ finally started attacking each other in front of Rudra, who is unaware of their past story. In the recent episode, Maya not only stood strong facing MJ but also threatened him. In one of the episodes, Maya warned MJ and said that he will soon witness her 'asli roop'.
