Big Boss 11: Double PhD holder, occult specialist, peon’s daughter and owner of Playboy Club among contestants

The ever-popular TV reality show Bigg Boss has set the wheels in motion as the Season 11 launched to a grand ceremony.

The contestants include celebrities like Hiten Tejwani, Hina Khan, Shilpa Shinde and commoners like Zubair Khan, Sapna Choudhary, double PhD holder and occult specialist Shivani Durgah, Jyoti Kumari, a daughter of a peon from Masaudi, Bihar, Bandagi Kalra, an engineer, Puneesh Sharma, owner of Playboy Club in Gurugram, Akash Dadlani, a rapper from Mumbai, and Sabyasachi Satpathy.

The launch saw host Salman Khan and actor Varun Dhawan dancing to the beats of 'Tan Tana Tan' from "Judwaa 2" with Jacqueline Fernandes and Taapsee Pannu joining the hunks.

Even Hiten and wife Gauri Pradhan put in a special performance on the song 'Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo' while Hina sang 'Lag Jaa Gale' and Priyank Sharma (of Roadies fame) danced to hit number Mercy by Badshah.

The other contestants include film producer Vikas Gupta, VJ Benafsha Soonawala, and Arshi Khan.
