‘King of Comedy’ Kapil Sharma is in news these days due to his sudden outburst against a journalist on social media. The Firangi star filed a complaint against the journalist and his former managers, taking the fight to a new level.
The entire fiasco took the entertainment industry by surprise as Kapil had just made a comeback to the small screen with his new show Family Time With Kapil Sharma.
The Comedy Nights With Kapil host received a lot of flak from the fans on social media for his abusive rant. While some people criticised him for his behaviour, Bigg Boss 11 winner Shilpa supported the talented comedian and asked everyone to forgive him.
The Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain actress wrote ''Abusing someone is certainly incorrect but he must be really in a bad situation’’.  The Marathi Mulgi also requested media fraternity to give Kapil some space.
The Maayka actress who is currently busy with her new show Dhan Dhana Dhan requested Kapil and his team to resolve the issues internally rather than taking things to social media. For the uninitiated, Shilpa’s new comedy show is produced by the sister duo of Preeti and Neeti Simoes.

Celebrities like Hansal Mehta have also given their two cents on the entire controversy and blamed both the parties.
Kapil Sharma's language with the journalist was despicable but also a sad reflection of his possible state of mind. The journalist in question is no ethical saint either. He has harassed many people, spun many malicious stories & has created stories with his misleading questions.

Yes @KapilSharmaK9 made a big, ugly mistake but running sponsored news against a depressed person is even worse and immature. We all lose it when harassed & there was too much negative reporting abt his show b4 launch, too much clarifying from his side b4 it got bad @Spotboye pic.twitter.com/935AoLcOXV

Wish we could be a little more empathetic towards people suffering from anxiety, depression and online bullying. Even if he's not depressed @KapilSharmaK9 needs a break to recover from this harassment. Sad. @pinkvilla, @bollywood_life @bombaytimes, @Bollyhungama @tellychakkar

We hope things are resolved soon and Kapil keeps on entertaining the audience with his fun antics and rib-tickling comedy.
