Confirmed! Nia Sharma Is Ekta Kapoor’s Lead For Naagin 4

After much speculations over who will take forward Colors; highest TRP grossing drama show, Naagin, Ekta Kapoor has finally confirmed that Nia Sharma of Jamai Raja fame will play on of the leads in the how. Meanwhile, fans are super excited to see her play the role. Mouni Roy, Adaa Khan, Surbhi Jyoti, Karishma Tanna and Anita Hassanandani have set the bar too high already.

Speculations about Nia playing the lead role in the supernatural series had already been doing the rounds. Ekta confirmed the news and tweeted saying, “Welcome to the world of Naagins "Nia Sharma" @Theniasharma #Naagin- Bhagya Kaa Zehreela Khel only on @ColorsTV Coming Soon”.

Although, Ekta has not yet let out who will star alongside Nia as a parallel lead but rumour bells say it that Ishq Mein Marjawan actor Aalisha Panwar and Puja Bose have been approached for the role.  Talks are on for the male lead as well. Vivek Dahiya was reportedly approached for the show.

Naagin 3 which had Surbhi Jyoti, Anita Hassanandani, Karishma Tanna broke several records last year with 4.5 TRPs. The show was the most successful season for the supernatural drama. Naagin 4 will air during the weekend and usually goes on for six months and more. The initial two seasons had Mouni Roy and Adaa Khan in pivotal roles. 

Sharma shot to popularity with Vikram Bhatt’s web series Twisted. She was ranked second in the Top 50 Sexiest Asian Women 2017 list published by British-based Eastern Eye newspaper. Sharma was ranked third in 2016. Later, Nia participated in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi season 8 titled Pain In Spain.
