Amit Tandon has confirmed his separation from wife Ruby after ten years of wedding and said that their seven year old daughter is his priority at the moment. Reportedly, the couple's wedding had hit a rough patch lately after which Amit and Ruby started living separately. It was reported that it was Amit's alleged extra-marital that made the couple part ways.
However, Amit has straight away rubbished the reports of infidelity and said that the reason behind their separation is compatibility issues.
“Whatever is being reported about infidelity issues, is absolutely wrong. We have been together for a while and it’s been 10 years of marriage. Issues started to arise some time back, and there were more of compatibility differences,” Amit Tandon told Hindustan Times.

The television actor, who was rose to fame from 'Dill Mill Gaye' has asserted that he doesn't want his daughter to be affected with their troubled marriage and is assuring that she is taken care of.
“We are both slowly and steadily trying to get to a place where we can be there for each other and for our child, in the best way possible. I think that is what two mature adults need to do. A lot of stuff is going around that Ruby has done this or that. I will not say that there is no truth in this, but I don’t want to divulge too much because at the end of the day, our seven-year-old child will be affected by this most and she is my biggest priority,” Amit added.
On the work front, Amit is seen in Colors TV's popular show 'Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki' in a pivotal role.
