The popular kids based reality show 'Super Dancer' got its first dancing star after nine-year old Ditya Bhande emerged as a winner.
Hailing from Nallasopara, Ditya not just took home the winner's trophy but she also won a cash prize of Rs 15 lakh.
This is not all.
The winner also won a smart phone and a gift hamper worth Rs 1 lakh from Patanjali.
Indeed, the little star was over the moon with her achievement and just can't stop gushing about it.
"This is the best moment of my life. I am really happy and excited to bag the prestigious title of nation's first ‘Super Dancer'. With the mentoring of my choreographer Ruel and the encouragement received from everyone, I am thankful to ‘Super Dancer'," Ditya told a leading daily.
Ditya was competing with four other finalists - Dipali, Laxman, Masoom and Yogesh- and it was quite a tough competition.
The finale episode of 'Super Dancer' was a grand event and was attended by Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Kapoor who were there to promote their upcoming movie 'Ok Jaanu'.
Besides, the grand finale also witnessed some breath-taking performances by all the three judges Shilpa Shetty, Anurag Basu and Geeta Kapoor.
Talking about the show, choreographer Geeta Kapoor stated that all the finalists were equally good and deserving.
On the other hand, Shilpa too sent her wishes to all the finalists and congratulated Ditya over her achievement. Shetty also asserted that she will miss each of the contestant on the show as she has developed a special bond with them in last three months.
Interestingly, just before the winner of 'Super Dancer' was declared, the makers also announced the second season of the show.
While they have invited the dancing videos from the kids, an official announcement about the auditions is still awaited.
