Emilia Clarke, who has won the hearts of many with her remarkable performance, is done with the shooting of the last season of Game of Thrones and thanked her fans for a wonderful life.
Wrapping up the shoot of the eighth and last season of the show, the 31-year-old actor says she will always fondly remember the "land that has been my home away from home".
Emilia, known for playing the iconic role of Daenerys Targaryen in the hit HBO show, took to Instagram and shared a heartfelt message as she bid adieu to the popular series.
"Hopped on a boat to an island to say goodbye to the land that has been my home away from home for almost a decade," Emilia captioned a selfie in which she is seen sitting in a boat filled with flowers.
"It's been a trip @gameofthrones thank you for the life I never dreamed I'd be able to live and the family I'll never stop missing," the actor wrote.
Emilia has worked in Game of Thrones since its premiere in 2011. The show has been shot in enchanting locations such as Northern Ireland, Croatia, Iceland, Morocco, Spain and Malta, among others. The final season of the show will be released in 2019.
