Television actor Gautam Rode has taken the plunge with fiance Pankhuri Awasthy as the couple got married on Monday. It was a destination wedding for the couple in the royal Tijara Fort Palace in Alwar Rajasthan.
Gautam and Pankhuri, who have always been quite reserved about their private life, chose to keep their wedding a private affair as well.
However, several fan pages have been sharing the pictures of the Gautam-Pankhuri's dreamy wedding ceremonies.
The pictures featured groom Gautam dressed in an embroidered cream silk churidar kurta paired with a golden turban. On the other hand,
Pankhuri looked a happy bride as she wore a heavily embroidered red lehenga along with heavy bridal jewellery.
The couple looked every bit of made for each other as they entered the nuptial bond in the presence of their respective families and close friends.
Earlier, pictures of their pre-wedding functions like haldi, mehendi ceremonies, cocktail and other ceremonies had also got the tinselvile buzzing.
While Gautam and Pankhuri posed happily during their mehendi function, the couple left everyone awestruck with the stunning performance on 'Dil Diyaan Gallaan' during the sangeet ceremony.
Talking about the couple's love story, Gautam and Pankhuri had first met on the sets of Razia Sultan, however, the cupid stuck them during the shooting of Sony TV’s show Suryaputra Karn.
The lovebirds kept their relationship under wraps and made it official only after they announced their engagement in October last year
Gautam and Pankhuri even shared their pictures together on social media post engagement and thanked the fans for their love.
