Television couple Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali, who tied the knot in 2010, became proud parents of a baby girl today at the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. The Hate Story 2 actor Jay shared the news with a pic of him kissing the legs of the tiny tot.
"The future just arrived,a brand new baby here to play.Ten little fingers ten little toes,mommy's eyes and daddy's nose.. Thank you princess for choosing us as your parents ITS A GIRL" Jay captioned the pic.
Soon congratulatory messages started pouring in. Co-actors like Aamir Ali, Kushal Tandon, Gauhar Khan, Shabir Ahluwali wished the actor. Gauhar Khan wrote, "Oh my god ! Such a great news ! Big congratulations! I’m sure she’s beautiful! May she have. A blessed life"
The couple who are already parents to two kids whom they have adopted, announced the news with a cute post on social media. Both Mahhi and Jay shared the posts on Instagram with different notes. In the picture, you can see a glimpse of Mahhi and Jay with their birth year mentioned. They have added a tiny pair of shoes next to them which reads ‘2019 coming soon’.

The actor in an interview earlier had expressed his wih for a bay girl and seems like his wish has been granted. "No relationship in the world can match the sanity of a father-daughter relationship and I wish that when my wife gives birth to a baby, she is a baby girl. "I have no preference as such and it is not that I won't like if a baby boy is born but I admire this bond and since I have had a father-son connect with my father, now when I have a child, I want a daughter so that I can experience this too," Jay said during shooting of an episode of reality show "Superstar Singer".
Jay also said in today's time, even daughters are no less and his wife Mahi still takes care of her parents the same way as she used to before her marriage.
