Comedian Kapil Sharma has been going through a rough-patch since last few months due to which the talk show named after him is suffering the most. The show is now off-air citing his deteriorating health conditions.
This all started after the infamous spat between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover in the mid-air flight. As a result, Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar, Sugandha, Chandan Prabhakar walked out of the show leading to huge drop in the viewership of the show.
After the spat, Kapil has been facing all the criticism that he is not able to handle his success. But, after keeping mum for a long time, Kapil finally broke his silence and spoke on the issue.
He said, "I am currently in Bangalore undergoing Ayurvedic treatment. I needed to repair my body to make a great and healthy comeback. I am hoping to be back in Mumbai by September-end. Most of what has been written about me lately is rubbish’’.
Talking about his health conditions he further added, ‘’I have been working for the last 10 years without a break and I needed medical help to combat anxiety, blood pressure and sugar problems and correct an unbalanced diet. I thought it was best to take a break before another problem that I couldn’t control cropped up. After ignoring my health all these years, I am focusing on it now’’.
Explaining on the cancellation of the show he said he could not afford to cancel another episode so he requested the channel to give him a break for a while so that he can complete his medical course.
Fans of Kapil are eagerly waiting for the return of the show with the unification of the complete starcast.
If sources are to believed, Kapil may return after the release of his home production film ‘Firangi’, which is set to release on November 10. In the movie, he will be seen playing the role of a local guy who falls in love with a NRI girl played by Monica Gill.
