Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki actress Kamya Panjabi married boyfriend Shalabh Dang in a traditional wedding ceremony in Mumbai on February 10. On her wedding day, Kamya looked resplendent in a red lehenga, while Shalabh looked handsome in a golden sherwani with a red stole and golden pagdi.
The Holi seems to be double special for the couple as it is not just their first Holi post marriage, but it also happens to be their one month anniversary. To celebrate this special occasion, Kamya posted a beautiful picture locking lips with hubby Shalabh Dang. The actress wrote: ‘’How i got so lucky I would never know Happy one month of Mr n Mrs Dang to us @shalabhdang I love you.''
Kamya also shared a few pictures from her Holi celebrations. She captioned the pics as, ''Happy Holi from us to you.''
Kamya and Shalabh had known each other for just one and a half month, when Shalabh propsed marriage to the actress. Talking about her wedding day, Kamya had told Bombay Times, "We will get married in a gurudwara, with only family and close friends in attendance. While the shaadi will be a family affair, the other functions will be total dhamaal. I don’t want to stand on a stage greeting the guests and receiving gifts. Mujhe apni shaadi mein naachna hai. So, it will be my kind of party and main paagalon ki tarah naachungi."
Kamya also talked about how her 10-year-old daughter Aara and Shalabh's 11-year-old son Ishan are excited about the parents getting married. "My daughter keeps saying that she wants to stay in Delhi. I am clear that I don’t want either Shalabh or me to compromise on work, so I will shuttle between the two cities. Maybe, after my show (Shakti — Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki), I will go there for a couple of months and then will take up a project that allows me to stay with Shalabh for 15 days a month," she said.
