April 1, 2016 remains one of the saddest days for our Indian television industry as it lost one of its young and budding talents, Pratyusha Banerjee. The Bengali beauty who won millions of hearts with her stupendous performance as Anandi committed suicide in Mumbai two years ago.
The Jamshedpur girl made a splashing debut on the small screen with the hit serial Balika Vadhu. The show made Pratyusha a household name and she later went on to do several other shows.
The Sasural Simar Ka actress participated in the seventh season of popular reality show Bigg Boss. Pratyusha met Kamya Punjabi on the very same show and remained close friends with her even after the show ended.
Remembering Pratyusha on her second death anniversary, Kamya took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message for her. The Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki actress wrote that a person should not let love affect their life.
Kamya wrote on Instagram, "Two years and n no trail also as yet! Dont laugh, I am not giving up, yes ur parents r miserable but "i hav complete faith in our juridical system" aise hi bolte hai na? To hell with that, value your life kyuki aapki jaan ki yaha koi keemat nahi hai, people forget n move on N U, You better don't rest in peace.''

Pratyusha, one of the finest talents we had in our television industry, went away too soon. Though our Anandi is no more, she will remain alive in our hearts forever.
