Kiku Sharda has refuted the reports of comedian Kapil Sharma being fainted on the sets of his comedy show 'The Kapil Sharma Show'. It was reported that Sharma was rushed to hospital after he fainted on the sets of TKSS. However, Kiku clarified that Kapil was just feeling uneasy and was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure. Reportedly, Kapil even had to cancel his shoot with Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma who were there to promote their upcoming movie 'Jab Harry Met Sejal'.
"Kapil did not faint. He was only feeling uneasy," Kiku was quoted as saying.
On the other hand, Kapil's close friend has reportedly told Asian Age that the comedian-turned-actor is fine and will be discharged soon.

“He will be discharged from hospital very shortly. He is more in the hospital as a precautionary measure as he had fainted a few weeks ago on the set. This time he didn’t faint. But his team decided to not take any chances with his health," Kapil's friend stated.
The friend further added, “Kapil has been deeply troubled by recent incidents in his life. He never thought the midair fight with Sunil Grover would spiral into such a major conflict. Kapil has so far not reached out to Sunil for any reconciliation. He is as hurt as Sunil. He tells his team members, ‘Yeh usska show hai jitna mera. Bulane ki kya zarooorat hai?’(This is as much his show as mine .Why do I need to call him?)”
Notably, Kapil and Sunil parted ways after their alleged fight during a flight wherein Sharma had reportedly assaulted the later.
